GREAT FOR BIRCH AND HARD MAPLE!
This was a necessity in working with Birch and Hard Maple. These woods do not take too Oil Plus 2C well but the PreColor is a great way to get the color you need and then add on the Oil Plus 2C for protection and added color of you want.
I used a blend of two PreColor with a Pure O2C on one project and a single color PreColor with a Pine O2C on top. Both came out great.
I did sand to 120 grit, used the Rubio cleaner and the did water popping to get the finish I wanted. I tried multiple sample boards to get the colors and process that worked best and this was the prices that worked best for me.

COVERS RED OAK REDNESS!
It works quite well to cover over the redness of red oak. The "mint" light green neutralize the redness. It is easy to apply and is water-based.

Must test to get the right color
I love the idea of precolor easy, but none of the colors match the names. Vintage brown looks greenish, antique beige looks grey, etc. you have to order them all and order different sealant colors to figure out what color works. I’ve mixed them too and get strange colors that are really grey or green in color.
