This sock is comfortable and warm. This medium weight works with both lace-up steel toed boots and rubber rain boots. My first order was the wrong size. Customer service immediately replaced my order. I highly recommend Fox River socks. I have worn them for many years.

Bought these for my husband for hunting around the house. It can vary from 20s-40 degrees that he hunts. That being said, his feet get colder because he wears boots that are more of a muck boot. The cushion is not as thick as heavywgt but still comfortable. He walks less than when he is upstate PA so I have not heard anyting about using them for that area. Overall I shop with FOX river and have never had an issue with their socks. Do yourself a favor and if you end up buying, set up an account (not guest) so you know what socks you have bought in the past if you want to buy them again. If the style changes or they no longer have that sock...well forget that. You have to start all over with looking at every sock to find what you think is the sock you currently have. Also, they are MADE IN USA and these are the only companies I look at. Price is just s smidge higher than some but better than others so for the quality and longevity...its a no brainer.
