I wear them for temps 32 and below in MN, while pretty much on the move. Work, runs, workouts, chores, hunting, whatever. Wear them a week at a time between washes, they don't stink. I'm a guy who admits he sniff tests his socks, they ain't bad come friday. You'll always find something different or better, but these do the work and work well.
