Printing with this filament was easier than expected! It prints somewhat like regular PLA but a bit more brittle. I used the same settings listed on the data sheet with no problems. For context, I have a Prusa i3 MK3S+ with a 0.4 hardened steel nozzle.
Getting the rusting effect I wanted took some experimenting....I was going for a splotchy/layered rust that had different tones of orange.....similar to corten steel. What I found worked best was to place multiple size/shape droplets of rusting solution on the print and let it sit for a while. I used a heat gun to "bake" in that layer of rust....then repeat the process. Misting the print with a thin layer of liquid resulted in a dull brown rust that was kind of boring. The rust will rub off if you do not spray with some kind of fixative. I used Matte Finish from Krylon.

I love it for its metalic feel and weight and it rusts beautifully. It is pretty brittle tho. For practical use in functional parts, it would be better in a nylon or ASA/Abs mix. but for the artistic use for rustic looking decor, it is great. Need to fine tune the print settings. It was getting a little stringy. I turned the nozzle back to 200 and seems to do better. One thing that needs to be different is the small sample roll i got without a spool. impossible to keep it from tangling. Needs to be on a spool.

I absolutely love this filament. It is incredibly high quality, and absolute dream to print and looks amazing when rusted and weathered. Highly recommend for projects that need to look old and rusted.
