Great for getting lay of the land

Great large map for getting an overview of the area, rough locations of portage and campsites. However for navigation purposes I will be getting a detailed map. Great idea to have a map that functions as a bandanna or camp towel but while the lettering is clear, the numbers on the edges aren’t.

Awesome idea for quality BW maps!

We brought both the standard Boundary Waters maps and True North maps on our last trip and found that it was just more convenience to use the True North maps. I would highly recommend for any experienced BW tripper!
