Disappointed

Such a great write-up and such a let down. The plunger doesn't go nearly deep enough so im left with soggy coffee grounds - leaving me to fish out the grounds so I'm not clogging my kitchen drain. My £6 M&S cafetiere does a better job. The only thing good about this one is there's no bits in my cup but that doesn't make up for the time wasting to get rid of the residue.

I hoped that by spending a little more I'd be getting a good quality product but the reality is that the £10 plastic framed press I bought from Amazon does a better job. Out of the three that I have received so far, two have been faulty out of the box and the one I have been using seems to suffer from a simple design flaw in that the press does not rest at the top of the pot when put in place, it simply plunges on its own within seconds spoiling the process. Returned and awaiting refund. Customer service has been good and thank you to Ruth for your support

More expensive than others? - yes. Worth it? - all day long. High quality, easy to maintain, lasts years. Only one I'll buy.
