Wonderful blue, has traits that may surprise.
I used an Lamy safari. The nib was dragging like it had brakes. 60x loupe looked perfect. I swapped the inks to the Sailor sample, and the glide of the pen was incredible; zero feedback. Rhodia and Tomoe River Papers. TR papers were a bit slower than the smoother Rhodia. The color is nice, with fascinating qualities of a shading ink.

Great ink, little expensive
Love the color and the performance, just wish it was cheaper so I didn't end up buying a bottle and got Diamine Aurora Borealis instead.

Bought a sample, then the whole bottle.
This is in my top ten inks, without a doubt. I had it in my Franklin Christoph with a no. 6 14k flex, and the way this ink leaves the nib and settles on the page is hypnotizing. With respect to shading, there is a very stark gradient between the deep, dark teal towards the bottoms of each letter, and a lovely presentation of an honest teal towards the top. There is a great deal of crimson sheen, but all things considered, the ink remains true to the deep teal. Sailor makes outstanding products. Highly recommend.
