Sailor Shikiori Nioi-sumire - Ink Sample

I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I did

I've been trying to find the perfect indigo or "blurple" and have gone through about a dozen so far. Almost every single time I feel that the inks are just slightly too different from what I'm looking for. However, Shikiori Nioi-sumire is the first ink that is not what I'm looking for and yet is perfect in terms of shade, wetness, and saturation. It's lovely as you write and it dries into a very pretty periwinkle that looks amazing in both broad and fine nibs. Wholeheartedly recommend it.
