BPD water pump

I had one of the impellers on my stock oil pump shear off. It didn't completely stop working but it was not producing optimal oils flow and the fragment caused a partial blockage. As a result, it was very hard to diagnose because the symptoms were intermittent and not conclusive. After chasing it for a long time i was able to find the issue. Plastic had no business in a design environment to begin with, much less for a part this critical with high consequence failure conditions.. At this point Ive got almost every bulletproof diesel part in their catalog installed on my truck, and never had any issues. They live up to their reputation. When I received the part i found some handling damage, and contacted BPD. They had a new part in the mail before I could hang up the phone, and sent a shipping label for the return. I was impressed by the demonstration of ownership and urgency to make it right. The final part showed up with beautiful fit and finish. Their design is built with high priority on reliability, and it has a feel of beefy high quality part. I feel sure that I’ll never have to revisit this part as long as I own my truck. Peace of mind is worth every penny…
