Pine and Cedar Shaving Soap

Good shaving soap

I shave with a straight razor every day and need a good, creamy lather. I have been using the "supercremed" triple-butter Lavender and Peppermint shaving soap and have loved it. So I bought the Pine and Cedar, which I thought would have the same frothy, creamy consistency. I used it for the first time today and noticed (should have before) that the label did not state it was "triple-butter" or "supercremed". The lather it produced was nice but not as nice as the Lavender and Peppermint. Nevertheless, a very good shaving soap. (I'm sure I'll figure out a better ratio of water and air to whip up the Pine and Cedar.) The scent is very pleasant, not overwhelming or fake.

Finally a strong cedar scent

I’ve tried many other cedar or pine scented soaps and shave soaps, all of them were very subtle or you couldn’t smell it at all, or they would just smell like pinesol. This pine and cedar scent is top notch.

The lather is absolutely incredible--thick, gooey, creamy--among the best I've ever tried.
