A piece of plastic with some wrap around fabric, but the big problem is that it is way too small. I sent it back. My wife showed me hers and I am going to order one of those. Way bigger. She laughed at my size!

This pieces turned out to be much more useful than I thought. I kept my husband's shirts need with minimum creases. Love it!
