This is an Excellent E string, it sounds great, it’s loud and feels right under my fingers.

Dependable e string

I always like having a good e string and this one doesn’t disappoint. The A strings on my violin always seem to go “out” after a few months no matter what kind of strings I purchase. This E string always sounds great, even the open string; stays in tune, keeps strong projection, don’t have to press down in high positions, and rarely whistles. I’ve tried a lot of different strings, but always buy an extra Evah E string. The goldsteel E is the best so far.
