Better than a clamshell

This is a 5 star product that might come with a bit of frustration on installation and anxiety if you take it off. The skyn itself feels indestructible and I honestly prefer this to a clamshell case which adds more weight and gets debris get in between them as they always do. This will definitely guard from scratches but not from drops, nor is it meant to. Colors are vibrant and texture is smooth but with a touch of grip. Installation was straightforward but I did have to reapply both top and bottom a few times and getting it off your screen side is a chore. Be extremely cautious as it adheres well and you will find yourself nearly ripping the screen off in the process as I nearly did. I bought the trio and to be honest, the internal was a fiasco and I had to just bail on it, which I'm fine with. These are a one and done situation so if you pull yours off too many times or want to swap one out, that's it. I have a greater understanding of them now that I've installed 2 and I honestly love mine and can see it lasting for the life of the laptop.

Looks great and easy to install

The MacBook Pro 14" skin I got is working out exactly as I'd hoped. Good looking design with thin-but-sturdy protection. Price was a bit high but I'm pleased with the quality.
