Very functional
While I don't have PEAX Back Country trekking poles, the rubber feet still function well in protecting my Solitude 4 Tipi Tent (Silnylon). I have them packed up with the tent so I'm sure to have them every time I need them.

Spare
Since I walk on asphalt with my rack march, they wear out quickly and I've had them get caught on the mesh of a gutter and drop the rubber into the ditch, so it's helpful to have a spare.
