Perfect for battery leads

Let preface this by saying if you are working on a smaller build, an aio, or with smaller gauge wire, this is likely not necessary or worse can make things more difficult. However, I got this to make my life easier when soldering xt60s on 12gauge wire to my esc. My previous experience using the c2 tip was worrying, especially for the negative lead. During the time it took to heat the solder enough to make a puddle, the rest of the esc got worryingly hot even with my iron cranked up. It’s easier now, the larger tip transfers heat more effectively with a larger surface area. It’s kind of one of those tools that you really only need for one thing but it makes a worlds of difference when doing the task.

For my style of soldering this is so perfect. Use the bigger chisel for bigger wires. Then the smaller for the micro soldering! Never had a problem.
