Really fun to embroider

I have thoroughly enjoyed embroidering this little owl. I haven't done 1-strand embroidery before, and the wing feathers with 1-strand turned out looking great. The scalloped blanket stitch for the chest feathers were a great design choice, too. I haven't sewn it to the back or stuffed it yet, but it has been fun. I'm making it as a gift for my sister, and I can't wait to give it to her. I've made just the bat before this, and they have been such fun, I plan to get more of the Kiriki kits.
