Beautiful Piece of Craftsmanship!
I'm a self proclaimed single malt scotch snob. I got tired of carrying my bottle in bags or my back pack when traveling, they just didn't say, "Hey, I care about my scotch." I was looking for a leather single bottle carrier and found out, that there just isn't a whole lot of options. I stumbled upon Walnut surfing the net, and I'm glad I did. High quality product, excellent craftsmanship, and it's absolutely beautiful. These are made by hand so I like the idea of have a special "one off" just for me. To me, it looks a little rugged and classy at the same time, I like it! Can't wait to break it in so it starts taking on that lived in leather look. It even came with a hand signed thank you, a nice touch that you just don't get very often these days. My "standard" shaped bottles fit just perfect, these being Laphroaig, Caol Ila, Lagavulin, the more "wine bottle" shape. If you are familiar with Ardbeg, this bottle is a little more bulbus so it won't quite fit and this is what I was expecting looking at the measurements. But that's ok, my "staples" do fit. I'm taking it on my first outing this weekend, can't wait to show it off to my friends. I want to thank the Walnut team for the care they put into their work, it shows. If you are looking for a Whisky (fun fact, scotch whisky does not spell it with an "e") carrier, buy one or more of these, you will not be disappointed.
