You are S*** out of luck if you have cancer!!!!

I have watched Dr Greger videos related to cancer and public domain and now this special series. These videos are brilliant. To know only 1 in 7 of new Cancer drugs have any meaningful impact towards cure or increasing the survival, was disheartening. Dr Greger should clarify that the data was for all different stages of cancer or just metastatic cancer. Further, he talked about lead time bias, and that was great concept to understand. However, patient with cancer are left in quandary, as how to test or know at what rate cancer is progressing? What are cancer markers or blood tests, if any, for various types of cancer. I felt that he needed to look at from patient perspective and do a comprehensive series on - as how to find cancer is fast growing or slow. For my wife, we are working with Stanford, and as per them, more many cancers this is not known. For DCIS and certain slow moving cancer, it might be wait and watch, but for most cancers, this can't forecasted with confidence. Dr Greger further talked about damaging impacts of Chemo and radiation and caution that some time treatment is worse than not doing anything. Again, this general statement is causing lot of fear and confusion and how one decide if you have growing tumor and you are in stage 2 or stage 3. My wife is vegan, whole food plant based, did fasting for 40 days at True North after diagnosis, and diet alone was not enough for HER2, harmone negative cancer. We came across Jane Mclleland book, which talked about that certain cancers can feed not only on glucose but also on fat and protein. And HER2 positive cancer is one of them. There are PET Scan in Europe which can see if cancer is feeding on fat. Simply because something is not in medical papers or studies, does not mean that those therapies may not work. For stage 4 cancers, there are so many testimonial in Radical Remission by Kelly Turner, and her website. Ideally, it would be great to have Dr Greger volunteers look at that database, and guide patients on factors like stress, meditation, Hyperbaric Oxygen, Vitamin C IV, Ozone therapy, Hyperthermia, off label use of drugs to cure cancer, to give some directions and light to people who are following WFPB diets for many years and still got cancer. Just implying that besides 2 or 3 types of cancer (non-hodgkins lymphoma, childhood leukemia etc.), there is some success, and you are better off just addressing diet, and s*** of luck if it is fast growing, - I think it is not enough.

The materials are generally solid and well constructed for content. My lower mark is coming from why support the videos upfront when you can get them cheaper if you just wait. Most pre-orders come with an advantage. I problem support your work and will continue to do so.,,
