European Linen Fitted Sheet

Love it!

This is my first fitted sheet from The Modern Dane and I'm loving it! I ordered the green (grøn) and was a little hesitant thinking it would be a bit more chartreuse than I'd like, but it's a beautiful green! I loved it the minute I opened the box. I ordered the twin sheet and although I have a shallower mattress at 6" tall, it still fits! Definitely recommend :)

Very deep pockets

The fitted sheet was comfortable right out of the box. The pockets are super deep, so it will easily fit most mattresses. My only concern is that the fabric is pretty sheer. I expected more heft to it similar to the linen duvet cover I have from the Modern Dane . I spilled just a very little of something on the linen sheet and it leaked right through to the mattress protector. So instead of having to wash my mattress protector in the future should it happen again, I have now placed a flannel fitted sheet on my bed first. I then add the linen fitted sheet on top of it because I do want to be enveloped in linen. Given the extra steps, I need to go through to make my bed, I’m not sure if I would do the linen fitted sheet again. I do intend to keep it. I do love that the sheet is soft and organic and I think the company is fabulous. Plus I live in the Seattle area and I want to support a local business.

Fitted Linen Sheet (queen)

Hello, I ordered a queen size linen sheet with pillow cases. I'm happy with the fabric and I'm curious to see how they hold up. They are textured but very soft. I notice a difference with sleeping cooler. It seems this brand goes the extra step of trying to guarantee the providence of their linen which is important to me. They're also reasonably priced when compared to other brands that go to similar effort. There are cheaper options out there but you'll notice they don't list the fabric weight nor have the same providence guarantees. I'm trying several other brands too to compare but so far I'm very happy with Modern Dane and would order again based on the quality I see.
