So flattering, but too “thick”for hot weather
This is my first pair of Aviators and I got them specifically for lightweight travel. However, they are a bit too “heavy” in weight for packing … but mostly, they’re way too warm for summertime. I’ll be keeping them because they do fit like a dream and are comfortable. Love the longer length cuffed as well! The midrise waist sits nicely (no noticeable gap!) and can be worn with a belt. Sadly, they are not going with me on this trip.

Well made
I recently purchased a pair of the Slim straight travel jeans and they are well made. I like the zipper pocket inside the back pants pocket. Great place to keep some extra cash. My only negative is they run a little big. I purchased a 32 and they are a little loose. I had previously purchased a 32 in the fly straight and they fit perfectly so you may want to purchase a size down.

Great quality!
I bought a pair of the slim strait Classic IndigoTravel Jeans as well as a Relaxed Fit Faded Indigo because they were in the archive sale. That, combined with the initial 20% sign up discount made them much more affordable for me. I have never spent a fraction of that amount on jeans! That said, the quality was evident the moment I unpacked them. They were a bit loose, which is not bad because that eliminates the dreaded muffin top, and I have a nice belt I can start using. Also, I intentionally picked the longest inseam, rather than a custom one, because I'm handy with a sewing machine and can hem them myself. (I'm picky about inseams-long enough to wear over my favorite low heeled western boots, but short enough to wear with sneakers without the hem being stepped on.) Prior to cutting into them I washed them twice in hot water to get all the shrinkage out. I can use the extra 5 inches of fabric to make things (trivets, patches, pockets, etc). The fabric appears substantial, but the jeans also dry relatively quickly in my dryer. These jeans are PERFECT. For one thing, they're the first pair of women's jeans I've ever owned that have real pockets! IN FRONT, in back, and the zippered back ones just put these jeans on another level altogether. For another, no part of them feels "spray painted" on, if you catch my drift. Yes, for me they are somewhat expensive, but I can also see that "less is more," and two or three pairs of these excellent jeans can replace 6-7 jeans of dubious quality and fit. This gels with my post retirement philosophy of paring down and "less is more." So, this is definitely where I will go for future jean needs (though these two pair, I think, will stand me in good stead for a long time). The fact that the are made in the US is all the more reason to buy them, assuming that they will hold up over time. Previous experience with t-shirts from another U.S. made company tells me that's not a "given," but I'm hopeful with these jeans.
