2018 Hai Lang Hao "Early Spring Bu Lang Mountain" Raw Pu-erh Tea Brick

Excellent and surprising tea!

This tea is not exactly what I expect from a young bu lang tea. The aroma has notes reminiscent of spice cake. The tea has some bitterness, but not a lot. The cake is very tightly compressed so it takes a while to open up, but the tea just keeps going once it does. It's very much a feel-good tea. Brewed at 200 degrees, 5g in 90mL water.
