Really a nice large butcher type blade like used here in Appalachia for smokehouse work on salt cured meat. It's thin enough, razor sharp and plenty stiff. About the right size for a backwoods knife, but not a machete.

Very solid blade, razor sharp. I'm happy I didn't buy bigger size. It looks like machete. The only think I didnt like was bevels on point of blade, they are significantly steeper (probably they are supposed to be steeper, I don't know 😕) but I fixed the problem in 15min with file. Now it's better to me. Very satisfied, honestly recommend 👌

great blade will make a great tool
