The Lauri PT95 is definitely my go-to blade for most of my puukko projects. When properly profiled they hold an edge exceptionally well.

The Lauri Oy PT blades are really excellent - I have several. They hold a very good edge through much abuse, and are easy to bring back to a extreme sharpness. The 95 is a very sturdy blade, but is also capable of fine detail work. I use these knives daily for work with bamboo, a variety of cordage, and general woodworking - they have allowed me to stop searching for the "perfect enough" blade for my regular use.
