Hamama Grow Kit - Ceramic Edition

Amazing Kit and Microgreens

I’m fairly new to microgreens and was looking for a simple way to grow them without having to deal with soil. After a lot of research, I decided to purchase Hamama’s starter kit with the ceramic tray and selected the Super Salad Mix, Hearty Broccoli, and Energizing Kale seed quilts. My kitchen has almost no natural light, so I rely on the lights in the ceiling and over the range to provide the needed light. Those first three seed quilts all produced an abundance of microgreens right on schedule as the instructions stated. I’ve since ordered more of those same quilts along with some others and the only one that hasn’t grown as well for me has been the Refreshing Cabbage Mix (apx. ¼ of the seeds didn’t take off). I mainly put microgreens in my smoothies and on salads and all of them have been great additions to my attempts to use organic, healthy ingredients in my meals. I live in a townhouse and do not have much of a yard to justify composting, so I’ve been placing the used seed quilts in the recycling bin until I come up with a better use for them (or bite the bullet and invest in an electric indoor composter). Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hamama and its foolproof seed quilts to anyone who wants to grow their own microgreens.

Better than I expected

Substantially easier than I could imagine! Now even my teenage children are cutting and adding them to their meals! So happy I decided to try this!

I am totally sold on this! My sis recommended it. I’m so excited, especially to use it in the winter, rather than buying lettuce or sprouts in the store! Also, I can use the coir mats as mulch and am thrilled with that!
