Truegrit (100% Robusta)

Having a bit more trouble brewing this one, seems the coffee is too fine. Doesn’t want to drip through the phin unlike the dark roasts which seem to begin dripping right away when blooming the coffee. My last attempt took over an hour to brew so it tasted quite over-extracted.

Amazing discovery!

Drinking the same coffee & chicory for 40 years, I decided to research what types of coffee was available. After blind purchasing 10 different specialty coffees and one being Nguyen's Truegrit, I can honestly say that I have found my everyday/forever coffee. Using a pour over method, I have finally tasted a bold cup of coffee with zero bitterness and acidity. Until now, I didn't know what coffee was supposed to be! Thank you very much!

Incredible coffee!! I’m a total coffee snob. It’s extremely strong in terms of caffeine content, yet simultaneously very smooth without being overly rich. 20 out of 5 stars!!
