After initial disappointment when not hearing back about problems with the size board and larger wanderlust yarn, the owners made it right by reaching out with the most sincere apology and support for the issues I experienced with the pattern and apologized for not responding sooner. It seems my emails were lost in the shuffle and they were understanding that there is not enough support for the larger wanderlust yarn vs the malabrigo Rasta yarn. I ultimately loved the pattern once I purchased a smaller 11x14 foam board and malabrigo Rasta yarn and am already planning another cowl. This will be a repeat project for me. And I have always been a big supporter of flax & twine and will continue to look forward to the awesome kits they put out. Thank you Flax & Twine for your understanding of my previous review and for making every attempt at remedy the problem.

Fun project with great results

Really enjoyed making this cowl and I plan to get good use out of it on our winter trip to the mountains. Very high quality materials and easy to follow instructions.

Unhappy struggle

I’m about halfway making this cowl and it’s been a struggle: in order to rotate the work, the cardboard has bent and isn’t tight any longer. I doubt I’ll make this again, so I’m considering it overpriced for the supplies provided (the bobbin is crucial but the extra stick hasn’t been needed). I think I’ll be able to finish it, but it has not been a fun project.
