Nutty Doodle 5 Lb. Whole Bean Coffee Bag

Over 20 years ago, Costco in Los Angeles carried all of the Don Francisco and Jose‘s brand flavored coffees: the Hawaíian Hazelnut, Vanilla Nut, as well as the Nutty Doodle and straight Colombian. We grind our own coffee every morning and so we buy whole bean always. Having the opportunity to get reacquainted with this beautiful deserty-nutty, cinnamony, nut-meggy flavored coffee is really a treat. For over 25 years we have still been able to get Jose‘s vanilla nut from Costco, and we live in Virginia now so we have it mailed for free. But none of the other flavors were available— until we saw it on the Don Francisco website. We were able to get a pretty fair price on the 5-lb. Nutty Doodle and so we went for it. After a nice strong pot of morning coffee, our second pot is either the vanilla or this gorgeous nutty doodle. It taste very Christmasy, but it is delicious !

I had this coffee at a small breakfast place in Oceanside, CA and it was the most amazing coffee I have ever tasted. I took pictures of what kind it was and found out it only came in a large bag of whole beans. So I bought the bag and then purchased a coffee grinder so I could make this coffee every morning. It’s so delicious. I really wish they would sell it in the kcup coffee pods for more convenience but other than that, this coffee is my absolute favorite.
