Holographic, transparency, texture and I can't stop listening!
My first purchase from Bloom Audio was a pair of IEM's and a Chord Mojo 2 and after some break in time and changing the IEM's to the 64 Audio Nio I was simply BLOWN away! I couldn't get enough of the instrument separation, clarity, imaging and holographic sound stage. Changing to the Hifiman HE1000SE really made the Mojo 2 SING! I was comparing the Mojo 2 to my Schiit Audio Gungnir 2 DAC and this little $650 Mojo 2 was so much better! I couldn't believe it! I needed more! So I was looking at the Hugo 2 and landed on getting it with my fiancé saying: "Don't spend $2500 today just to to spent $5100 in a year, just get the TT2." I spent the next several weeks watching videos and reading reviews and I didn't hear any excitement on the Chord Hugo TT2. All I could think was that these reviewers are all saying amazing things about the Topping, Holo Audio, SMSL, etc... and I was thinking to myself, can a $1500 Topping AMP/DAC combo really compete with this $5100 Chord Hugo TT2? I thought these reviewers can't be serious. So I took the plunge and I am now a proud owner of the Chord Hugo TT2. My thinking was that if this little Mojo 2 is so incredible, the Hugo TT2 must be just a better version, and I was on the money! I can see each instrument in its place, I can see the singer inhale as they belt out some vocals, you can feel the texture in their voice. You don't just hear the guitar being played, you hear the strings being plucked and vibrate. There is one downside, the transparency is so good that you can tell when a track has been recorded poorly or they used a poor quality microphone. On a bad recording the singer is yelling, instruments are bland and studio is noisy. But when you hear a good recording it's pure magic. BUY THIS! Bloom Audio is amazing! Now I need to buy the Chord M-Scaler, but don't tell my fiancé lol

Incredible Improvement
Made a night and day difference! I'm using it in pre-amp mode via XLR to my Ferrum OOR amp to power my Susvara's. Switching from the Hugo2 portable DAC/Amp to the Hugo TT2 was incredible--the lows are deeper and have more weight. The mid's and treble are improved as is the detail and width of the sound. Hands down an incredible purchase.
