Paragon Kiln - SC2 Pro (READY to SHIP)

I love it! So quick to get to temperature, so quiet!

I've fused glass for over 20 years and have 4 kilns (they all fit a different purpose). I bought this one, now 5th, because I've been spending more time metal smithing jewelry settings and I'm so happy I did. It ramps up quickly and stays at temperature without a single "click". It's a pleasure to work with. It's also easy to open & close and put things to fire inside without disturbing them which is important to me due to arthritis in hands. If I had designated one of my other kilns for metal work, I'd have had to lift a top or clam shell body for each entry & removal so no regrets.

Great Little Work Horse for a kiln.

I purchased the Paragon SC2 Pro kiln to make silver clay jewelry and glass cabochons. With the SC2 Pro kiln it has solid state relays and the touch screen controller both of which were a must for me. I have TAP controllers in my other 3 kilns so there was definitely a learning curve for this controller but once I got the hang of it it isn't difficult to use.The kiln heats up VERY quickly making it fabulous for silver jewelry and cabs. I liked the kiln so much that I ordered a second one for my other studio.
