I own a 1967 Corvette in dire need of new weatherstripping along the doors - I own a coupe. I saw a YouTube video where a Corvette enthusiast used the HR 1360 product to remove the grease and deposit on the new weatherstripping - there can be a residual film from the mold when the weatherstripping is manufactured. HR 1360 placed on a clean cloth will remove all of that from your new weatherstripping, making it ready to install. I used this product to also to remove the stubborn original weatherstripping glue used in the Chevrolet St. Louis factory in 1967 to install the original weatherstripping - BTW that glue is still available today from 3M - HR 1360 when applied lightly with a small artist brush works wonders. It peeled the old glue back to the car's finish - all of this needs to be removed prior to installing the new weatherstripping - HR 1360 is super. I highly recommend it -a little bit of this goes a long way. When I ordered from the company the sales folks were helpful; the shipment arrived as promised and they sent me the UPS tracking # to track the shipment. If you have car projects etc. this product is for you!! I will recommend this as a beginner product to my Corvette buddies thinking about weatherstripping projects etc.
