This is our second order from Delilah Home. It certainly won’t be our last. The sheets and pillow cases are incredibly comfortable and soft. I was worried they would be hot during the summer months, happy to report I was wrong.

It’s very comfortable, quality materials, feels great to sleep on!

Arrived very scented with fabric softener

I haven’t used the sheets yet, so I can’t rate them based on experience over time. What I can rate are initial impressions. They do seem thicker than linen sheets which I appreciate. I appreciate the organic fibers. The thing that bothered me is that they arrived scented and with a feeling of fabric softener on them. I have asthma and chemical sensitivities, so any fragrance is a no go for me. People don’t realize that fragrance is very hard to wash out of fabrics. I had to wash these 6 times before the fragrance faded enough that I could handle the sheets, but not enough that I can sleep on them yet. Fabric softeners can have toxic ingredients and they coat the fibers which ruins the benefits of using that material. I don’t like spending extra money for organic fabric only to have it coated in other chemicals. Fabric softeners are also very hard to wash out of things, and it takes many washings for it to start to go away. I mention this to bring awareness to the situation because it is causing health issues for many but seems to be increasing in practice. It is becoming rare to buy things that don’t have fragrance on them and that is very hard for people like me who can’t breathe with them, and for those who don’t realize these affect everyone in actuality, even if they don’t realize it.
