WLP004 Irish Ale - White Labs Yeast Pure Pitch Next Gen

Works well

I like that it's easy to pitch the yeast, and it fermented very wildly during primary. I'm going to be swapping to secondary soon, so I don't know how it's going to taste just yet, but I do know that the ABV is around 13.5%. I'm dropping one star because it's not very obvious on the packaging that one pack will only treat about 3 gallons, and that you'll need to make a yeast starter or more than one pack to ferment 5 gallons. Once I fixed the issue, everything went well.

I recently used 004 in a chocolate oatmeal stout, and it resulted in a wonderful beer! I plan use it again in future stouts.
