These are exactly what I was looking for! I was a bit unsure if this material was the type of sleeve I was looking for, as I've never seen it or felt it in person. Only regular neoprene sleeves in different thicknesses and one time I got to feel and see how stiff the Inzer Pros are. But not this 3 ply material. And boy oh boy does it perform!
My knees aren't a wreck, but I do have some issues and have always had slightly weak knees and legs. I have crazy long legs at 6'8" and squatting/leg day has never been something I enjoy nor am I good at. It feels like torture. But I've committed to squatting heavy lately and putting in the time and effort and these sleeves make it SO much easier. Not easy, but better, haha.
They are SO tight, supportive, springy and really compress the entire knee area so well without being painful. And surprisingly, not that hard to get on. It's not easy, but it's nothing like those stiff cast Inzer Pro type sleeves. I can get these on and off with no problems. And yet they are super tight and compressive. They keep my whole knee joint area tight, warm, compressed and it helps my mind focus on my lift instead of my weak knees.
A total game changer for me! It doesn't help you lift more weight per say, but the fact that they are so springy, so compressive and fairly firm, really helps you feel safe and secure when doing heavy weight. And for submaximal work, it's a dream. They have completely changed how often and how much weight I can do with not only Squats, but also my accessory lifts like Split Squats, Hack Squats, Pause Squats, etc! Can't recommend these enough.
And they're fairly affordable which is another reason I chose these. Far too many companies charge STUPID outrageous prices these days for some neoprene or fabric. Kudos to the Strength Shop for offering a good product at a fair price. Not sure about the long-term durability, but so far, I absolutely love them! Totally has changed how I'm able to train my legs. I used to despise Squatting, Bulgarian Split Squats, Hack Squats, etc. Now, it's no big deal. Great product!
