Elasto Quick Mount - 17mm/.67" Gear

Not the same as the original

The hexagonal mounting attachment will not fit the new strap so it is unusable.

Sizes don't match

I bought an Elasto Quick Mount 17mm because the 22mm was not available and it was not clear what the difference is. Turns out 17 and 22 mm refer to the diameter of the gear (this is not mentioned on the website) and I need a 22. Customer Service was kind enough to send me a 22mm gear, but it turns out the hexagonal bases are also different sizes, so it still doesn't work with my original strap. Time to call customer service again.

Sizing??

I was unable to find out which one I needed, so I had to buy both the 22/.87 and the 17/.67. Your website appears to be silent on the issue.
