Diamond Copper Water Bottle

Easy order, quick delivery. Unfortunately my drink bottle leaks, since the lid doesn't really screw on properly, otherwise im pretty happy with it.

When I opened the box of my brand new copper bottle, i was disappointed to see that the lid of it was already covered in dark metal patina, which spoils the shiny copper look of the bottle. Another issue I have is that every time I try to screw the lid on, there’s resistance because the patina stops it from aligning and twisting on smoothly. Sometimes this causes the cap to get really stuck and difficult to open or close. Also…after thoroughly cleaning the inside of tbe bottle as instructed, the pure filtered water I put in it ends up tasting metalic, which is very off putting…this can’t be healthy? This bottle was a disappointing waste of my time and money. The merchant only offers a 7 day return, so by the time these issues manifested, it was too late to return it. Perhaps this is why?
