XL Weighted™ Blanket

I owned the XL Weighted Blanket for five years and used it every single night. It was soft, the cover was included and actually fit, and there were ties at the corners and along each side to anchor it properly. When it ripped last week I reordered immediately without a second thought. What arrived is a completely different product. The fabric is stiff and scratchy, closer to a canvas beach blanket than something you would sleep under. It does not fit the cover, and it is unusable without one because the ties and edges scratch skin. Five-year customer, and I will be returning this, because what a disappointment. Two stars because at least it shipped fast

Love/hate telationship

I have a love/hate relationship with this blanket. I love how big it is, that it does not make me to hot, the weight is great. Soothing, cooling, comfort, and big enough to share. It even works with the duvet cover. I am no longer a fan of my duvet cover. It's big and cumbersome. Putting it on the weighted blanket is a struggle. You might even be able to skip the gym after the workout you'll get trying to get it in there. And do t count on the 12 snaps or buttons to keep it in there. Great idea but in theory and real life it just doesn't work. For me just the duvet insert didn't work that well either. Without the duvet on the weighted blanket it slides off of the bed if you or you bed mate are not still while sleeping. Most days the blanket is half or all on the floor by morning or all on one side of the bed. I am not a blanket hog or a still sleeper. I'd blame the cat, but he isn't big enough to steal a 40lb blanket. It's the amazing cool and silky material . Now back to the cat...I only had the blanket a month or so it is already snagged up pretty good and has a couple tiny holes from tiny claws I assume. Not sure if they appeared while it was in the duvet or after we gave up on the duvet. The cat kept getting inside the duvet to hide and yes he undid the buttons to get in there and still found himself stuck.

Weighted Heaven

Purchase this as a gift for my husband but end up loving it myself. My husband is a guy that likes to sleep with three or four blankets even in the summer because he likes the feeling of the weight and so I figure this would be a perfect addition but I never realized it would definitely impact my sleep in a positive way as well. Well done!
