Customer service inefficient, site needs more detailed content
I’ve been purchasing fabrics from this store for quite some time and I can say Simplifi sells excellent quality as was the case with this purchase. However, I find customer service to be slow and at times inexistent. I sent an email asking a question about fabrics weeks ago and never got a response. It’s not the first time this happens. This time I ordered two fabric pieces that were very similar to each other in color and texture and have no idea which is which because no label is sent in package for each fabric. I also find the site to be incomplete in terms of information. It would be nice to have more detailed descriptions of fabrics, such as amount of stretch, fabric weight, suggested uses, etc. Suggestions for fabrics to use for each pattern would be also helpful to people like me, who sew at home as a hobby. Nowadays, more and more people have sergers in the house, willing to sew with indie patterns like the ones Simplifi sells. If Simplifi offered additional information on its website, it would decrease the amount of emails requesting for help and customer service would be better, I hope. But because my experience has been dodgy at times, I am already searching for alternatives. This is how a good business starts losing sales.
