RPS 400 Solar Well Pump Kit

Great service

Amazing service. I did not get the kit installed for a week or so after I got it. When I started the install I noticed the well sanitary cap was not included. I called and they overnighted it to me and it actually came the next day. Not sure how they sent it but it is almost impossible to get things the next day in the small town I live in. I have also had a number of question during install and they have been really great with answers. It is such a treat to be able to talk to a real knowlegable person rather that trying to work through the voice recognation computer on the other end that I most other companys now use . Much lower stress. So far I the instructions with the kit have been good and everything seems to be working great. I have not used the equipment much yet so we will see how it works out in the long run.

My only problem

The only problem I ran into was buying wrong size Poly pipe. The video talked of using 3/4” or 1” pipe. I was set up for 3/4” ID,,,,,,poly pipe dealers, those who sell PVC, talk in OD. Suggest making more of emphasis on specifying ID or OD when taking poly pipe

Delivery date was right on. Very well packing. I choose to build my own supports for the solar panels, as we have very high winds, up to 90mph micro-bursts. I was very concerned about how the pump would work. I have a shallow water table, 30ft if a good year,very heavy clay and Alkaline soil. This tends to eat up leather pump seals. The pump has run for two weeks so far, no problems at all. the Low water sensor works great as the recharge of the well is rather low. I am very happy with the system, will see how well it holds up over the summer.
