Thread is broken and absolutely no response from customer support

I wanted to like this. It’s very pretty. However, it arrived with the thread at one end not functioning properly. I think the external thread is the wrong size or something. I’ve tried to contact customer support multiple times, but there’s been no response at all. Very disappointed!
