So surprised by the bag's interior organization and still lighter than my last bag

My last bag had a zippered pocket for everything - one for cables, one for my keys, one for my glasses, one for my iPad, one for my charger, etc., etc., etc. I thought that would be great to help me stay organized, but I realized I wasted a lot of time looking in each zippered section when I couldn't find what I needed. In the Gaston Messenger bag, I can see everything once I open the flap in one view. The description refers to pockets, and they are perfectly sized for everything I need to carry. The photos shows a close up of how I'm using them - two slots for pens, two pockets that are wide and deep enough to store a mouse and hardshell eyeglass case, and then a zipped pocket. The second shows my 17-inch work laptop, my 13-inch MacBook, the laptop charger, and a small bag for cords and chargers. It carries virtually everything I had in my previous bag without expanding the side straps yet, and still feels lighter.
