The item was basically deadstock aside from some scuffs and stains in the back but those can be buffed out

Scored two vintage M-65 field jackets was a solid win, especially with one being a confirmed legit early example. The first one has an intact-label one without epaulets is particularly cool—those 1st pattern M-65s (produced only around 1965-1966) are quite rare compared to the later versions that added shoulder epaulets starting in 1966 onward. They're prized by collectors here in the Philippines for that short production window right at the start of the design's long run (which lasted decades until the mid-2000s for U.S. issue). For the second one, it looks really beat-up. I swapped a heavy-duty #10 brass YKK zipper to replace the old one. Both are now in the cleaners for some heavy duty cleaning.
