Mallo Cotton Slub Weaving Yarn ~ Clay

Not soft and cuddly

I've used Malo now in three projects. It is easy to weave and works great as warp and weft. My issue is that it is not soft. The Textured Cotton Scarf pattern done is Malo is not really soft enough to enjoy. The Color and Weave Lace scarf pattern (Liz Gipson pattern) is gorgeous but, again, almost too scratchy to enjoy wearing. It would be perfect for table linens or maybe towels.

Love the texture

This is by far the easiest "weaving" yarn that I have found. It floats smoothly through the heddle and the multi-texture final woven appearance is great. Wonderful product and I will use more!

Recovery Angels

I am in the midst of recovering from an extensive, successful surgery with an excellent prognosis. I entertained myself in the hospital by scanning the Gist website and celebrated my return home with an order placed with Gist. Gist was among the many angels that have supported me. Thank you, Gist!
