Lightning L3-Series Bike Tire Air Chucks

These Lightning™ L3-Series Bike Tire Air Chucks (1/4" F-NPT, Presta and Schrader Valves, Open Flow, 2-Pack) are excellent. The first chuck I tried was difficult to turn when switching between Presta and Schrader modes, and I wasn't sure if I was operating it correctly. After trying the second chuck, which turned smoothly, I realized the first one just needed to be worked back and forth a few times. Now it operates perfectly. Like most Presta-compatible chucks, it takes a little fiddling to get a perfect seal without any air leakage, but it performs far better than any other air chuck I've used. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Great solution for those who have a "real" compressor

It's a bit spendy but cheaper than a pump. I usually have around 125 psi in my compressor which is plenty of volume for gravel tires and plenty of pressure for road tires. The gauge on my inflator isn't really reliable so I always check with my pressure gauge. Great solution if you have a compressor. Wish I could have bought just one. . . . not sure what I will do with the second.
