Soho S1 Bookcase

They are beautiful, but...

We bought 5 different pieces of furniture, but I will just comment on the 2 Soho S1 bookcases. On the up side, they went together perfectly and they are beautiful. Unfortunately, the instructions haven't been updated to correspond to the actual pieces, so be careful when you are putting it together. Some of the holes/anchors are reversed. They also left out the step of putting the back piece in. The big problem I have with them is that the LED lights look ridiculous if you install them the way they say. All you can see when you look into the cabinet are the 3 little LED lights - kind of blinding you. We ended up putting black tape over the front of the light holder on all shelves and put a piece of black paper on the bottom shelf to cover the light so you can't see it from above. This made them look like the pictures on their website. See the pictures for a clearer understanding. I will also be reviewing the other pieces I purchased - the Eva-KBL Fireplace TV Stand, the Soho S7 Sideboard, and the Glossa 01 Coffee Table.

Beautiful bookcase

First of all the shipping was impressive. It came in a wooden box to fully secure my item. Assembly instructions weren’t clear but we figured it out and love the end result. Would recommend using metal handles and metal shelf brackets for better stability
