Machi Koro: The Expansions

Played about 10 games now. Hate the one-big-deck mode they recommend. Just sort all cards into 3 stacks: 1-6, purples, and 7+. Then pull 3 purples, 6 1-6, and 6 7+ card stacks to play with for a game. Tips: If there are 3 or 4 players, ensure there's some good blues and green income producers, and not that many Reds and stealing purples, the game will drag. Also I asked LLMs to generate a quick randomizer for selecting your cards, but just rolling a dice and getting that number in the stacks works nearly as well. Was it an upgrade - yes! Is it perfect or well balanced - eh.

Great addition to a fun game!

I haven't played both expansions yet but when we added Millionaire's Row to the base game, it gave us so many more options! I always felt this game went a little too fast and adding in so many more choices made it a really fun play.
