Auris 12-String Diatonic Lyre

Pros: beautiful lyre, and sounds wonderful once tuned, very sturdy and sounds beautiful. I played it for bedtime and it completely relaxed my son and he fell asleep to it. Cons: it did not come ready to use (was aware of this), it must be tuned. However something that wasn't disclosed until I received it was that once you attempt to tune it or even play it, Bella Luna does not allow you to return it, I would say that's important to disclose beforehand, especially given the cost of the lyre. I found someone to tune it for us, but this caveat on the return policy should've been disclosed been beforehand. Also, one of chords already snapped during tuning, so I'll need to put purchase extra strings, so consider that plus the cost of re-stringing the instrument if you hire someone.

I absolutely love the full sound of this instrument. Wonderful for accompanying plays and setting a mood. I look forward to playing songs with occasional harmonies.

Excellent quality, beautiful sound! My only complaint is that I don’t know how to play it yet! Can’t wait to learn to play some tunes with this beautiful heirloom quality instrument.
