Great product, cats should love it

I ordered the Catio standard luxury edition. The product is well designed and manufactured. It arrived earlier than promised and was very well packaged with no damage during delivery despite being a very large item. The assembly instructions are good, however, there was no explanation for the large opening on one side of the tower. After a phone call to Customer Support I learned that opening is intended to be attached to a wall of the home. However, I can foresee many deployment scenarios in which that would be undesirable for the customer. I had to order $160 worth of additional wire panels to close off that hole. In addition, the installation instructions were not at all clear at this point.
