The reason I give this product a lower rating is because of the small germination percentage. These seeds are very small, which I am used to with a few other things I plant, so that is not a reason. It IS possible that my typical germination process, which starts in a closed container in a heated tent, was not ideal for this product since it prefers colder soil conditions. However, I did move it outside my heated germination tent after two weeks to a cooler area and still only 3 (out of about 50 seeds) germinated. I've had about an 85% success rate with seeds from here (with the 15% lack of success concentrated in a few oddball things I ordered) so I think either these were bad seeds OR they require conditions I didn't meet for germination. I will try them once more with the remaining seeds in much cooler conditions but I was hoping to have them outside by early March to capitalize on the cooler temps before spring.

I get my year's worth of seeds every spring. I trust this company for the seeds that I use to feed my family. I am very picky about where I purchase seeds from and these always prove to be good quality. I get a high germination rate every year. I will continue to support this company.

Sprouted quickly with high germination rate!

These germinated after only a couple of days and have proceeded to grow an inch or so a day! I can't wait to transplant them outside when it warms up.
