White salad turnip
Easy, fast growing and very tasty sliced raw in a salad. This is my 2nd year growing these and my experience is they tend to be susceptible to worms or grubs if a deterrent isn’t added to the soil. Alternatively it helps to plant early and pick them at about golf ball sized and get them out of the ground by mid July. Great addition to the garden.
