It isn’t the problem

My hood is not staying locked into place lately. I thought at first that I needed to replace the rod, so I purchased a new one. However, it didn’t fix the problem. The problem is that the slot that is meant to lock against the rod and keep the lid in place has become worn. I have come up with a solution with a third party material, but it would be nice if Hasty Bake had a solution the could offer to customers.
